Who doesn’t love lemon cookies? This is a great recipe to make some delicious cookies for the kid’s any day.

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

Stir all ingredients except powdered sugar together and drop by teaspoonfuls into powder sugar and roll into balls. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown.

Variation: Can also be made with different flavors of cake mix.

  • I have been making these for several months and everywhere I go people want the recipe. Easy and delicious and they look so pretty, too, all lacy on top.
    I do add 2 or 3 drops of lemon extract sometimes for a more lemony taste. This and the sweet from the powdered sugar make a delectable combination.
    Thanks so much. Now everyone can enjoy them.
