  • 2-4 large chicken pieces, breast, wings or thighs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • Zest of lemon
  • ¾ tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • ¼ tsp onion powder

Place flour in a large plastic bag then add each cleaned chicken piece. Toss and make sure that it is coated well and set aside.
Take the lemon zest and mix with other seasonings in a bowl. Take the mixture and season both sides of each chicken piece well.
Next, take a 10-inch skillet and melt butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 4 minutes per side. Throw in lemon slices and repeat cooking for another 4 minutes on each side.
Let cool and serve.
