- 2 C. water
- 2 C. granulated sugar
- juice and zest of 6 lemons
- 6 stalks of lemon grass, sliced into 2 inch pieces
- 6 C. cold water
In a saucepan over medium heat simmer water with the sugar.
Allow the syrup to boil gently for a few minutes, then stir in
lemon juice, zest, and lemongrass. When syrup returns to a
boil, remove the pan from the heat to cool. Pour the syrup,
six C. of cold water and ice into a tall pitcher. Stir and serve.
