Lenten Chocolate Chip Cookies

It can be difficult to avoid all dairy products the 40 days before Easter, but these Lenten chocolate chip cookies can still be eaten!

Ingredients

  • 1 C. dairy-free margarine
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 3.4 C. brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. non-dairy chocolate chips
  • 3 C. flour
  • Fake egg:
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 Tbs. flour
  • 6 Tbs. water

Directions

Make the fake egg. Then combine all ingredients, except chips. Stir in chips. Drop teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake until cookies are golden brown.


Serve with: Lenten Pancakes
