Ingredients
- 1 C. shortening
- 1 C. vegetable oil
- 1 C. orange juice
- 2 C. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 7-8 C. regular flour
- 1 jigger whiskey
Directions
Cream shortening with vegetable oil, along with sugar until frothy. Add orange juice and vanilla extract. Blend in dry ingredients until well-mixed. Add whiskey. When dough comes away from the side of bowl and rolls easily, you are ready. Roll and bake in a pan in oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
