You can eat these pancakes during Lent (the 40 days before Easter). Make sure to sprinkle them with sugar or honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. water
  • oil

Directions

Mix all ingredients, except oil, together and stir until blended. Consistency should be slightly looser than pancake mix. Heat frying pan with oil. Drop a tablespoon of mixture into oil. When the pancakes begin to bubble, turn them over until they are slightly golden. Remove from pan and place in dish.
