Lemon preserves are a great recipe to make because they are the perfect topping for almost anything! We love adding a little extra lemon on top of toast and vanilla ice cream.

8-10 servings


  • 1 lb Thinly Sliced Lemon
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cup Powdered Pectin
  • 3 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2-3 Tbsp Candied Lemon Bits
  • 1 tsp Grated Fresh Lemon Zest
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger

Place all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Transfer to the a bread pan fitted with the kneading paddle. Place the bread pan in a convection bread maker. Press menu and select jam. Press start. Scrape the sides of pan when tone beeps at 5 and 10 minutes into the cycle. When done, transfer preserves to clean jars. Let cool, then cover and refrigerate. Keep refrigerated for 4-6 weeks.
