Light Meatless Pizza
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 vegan pizza crust, uncooked (use a basic recipe if you can't find one)
- 1 C. chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 C. chopped onion
- 1/2 C. mushrooms
- 1/4 C. basil, chopped
- olive oil
- marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought work)
- vegan cheese, if desired (you can use regular cheese for a vegetarian version)
Cook the pizza crust. Spread olive oil over the top and put on a very thin layer of sauce. Top with veggies, vegan cheese, and basil.
Cook in a 500 degree oven on a pizza stone for 5 minutes or until done. Alternatively, you may use a brick oven, if you have one.
