Macaroni and Cheese

This macaroni and cheese recipe is a one pan recipe. No pre-cooking of macaroni. Only problem is you can't double the recipe. Oh well, just cook two seperate pans. Your family will love it and so will you.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz uncooked macaroni
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 1 diced small onion (optional)
  • 2 1/4 C. boiling water

Directions

In 9x13 pan, place macaroni, cubed butter, cottage cheese and Velveeta. Pour over boiling water and stir well. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 50 minutes. Important: stir every 15 mins until done.
