Macaroni with Oil and Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 C. good olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic
- Black pepper
- Salt
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil and add at least 8 cloves garlic, salt and pepper. Brown garlic and shut off heat. In a large pasta pat, cook spaghetti in boiling water until al dente. Drain pasta, leaving about 1 C. pasta water in the pot. Place in pasta bowl, add oil and garlic sauce and toss well. Add parmesan cheese and toss again.
