A great Make Ahead Peach Cobbler can taste like a slice of heaven with a touch of summer! There are so many ways to make peach cobbler, some involve fresh picked peaches and a whole lot of butter, sugar, and time. Some recipes call for box cobbler mixes and syrup covered, canned peaches. This is an easy recipe that is both easier and healthier and that is sure to delight.

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 2 15 oz. packages frozen peaches
  • 12 oz. bottle lemon-lime soda
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Layer frozen peaches on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish
Pour dry cake mix over the peaches and smooth over with your hands
Pour the soda over the top but do not mix
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes at 425F
Remove the foil and sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the cobbler
Return everything to the oven uncovered for an additional twenty minutes
Remove and serve warm with ice cream or store and serve cold later
