  • 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a bowl with a paddle, place in the butter and sugar, beating until smooth and creamy. Add in the eggs and beat as well. Mix in the flour, baking soda, salt, and spices in a separate bowl. Add in the buttered mixture and beat. Drop large Tbsp. into an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
