Maple Frosting
Ingredients
- 3 Tbs. flour
- 1 C. milk
- 1 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. shortening (i.e. Crisco)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
Directions
In a small saucepan, stir milk into flour and bring to a boil. Let cool. Mix together sugar, Crisco and butter until smooth and fluff. Add flavoring and cooled flour and milk mixture and mix until fluffy. Frost your cake (I like to use a chocolate cake).
