Marinated Chicken

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. red wine vinegar
- 2 lg. garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
- salt
- pepper
- 3-1/2-lb. chicken, cut into 8 serving pieces
Directions
In a shallow dish, whisk vinegar, garlic, herb and salt and pepper to taste together. Add the chicken pieces. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Preheat broiler. Remove chicken from marinade. Pat chicken dry. Place it with the skin side toward the source of the heat. Broil 12-15 minutes. Turn chicken and cook for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
