Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. boneless country pork ribs, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 1/2 T. sugar
  • 4 1/2 T. mushroom soy sauce
  • 1/4 C. scallions, minced
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 1 T. ginger root, minced
  • 2 T. ground sesame seed
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 T. sesame oil

Directions

In a medium bowl, toss the pork cubes with the sugar.
Combine all other ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the pork, tossing to coat.
Marinate for at least an hour or overnight if possible.
Thread the pork onto bamboo skewers and grill over high heat about 10 minutes, turning once.
