When most people think of tuna, they of the can. However, there is so much more you can do with tuna then you would imagine. This tuna steak recipe puts the tinned fish to shame with it succulent and juicy flavor. This dish is best served with sautéed green beans and slivered almonds.

  • 1/4 C. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chopped fresh oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 oz. tuna steaks

In a large dish, combine together the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, oregano, and pepper. Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and turn to coat. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.

To Cook:
Preheat the grill. Lightly oil the grill. Cook the tuna steak for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

Serve with sautéed string beans and slivered almonds.
