  • 3/4 C. water
  • 2 cardamom pods, smashed
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 1-in. piece of cinnamon
  • 1 star anise
  • 3/4 C. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black tea leaves
  • 1 pkg. stevia (or your favorite sweetener)

Boil the ingredients (except for the milk, sweetener, and tea leaves) in water for two minutes. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes, or until fragrant. 

Add the milk and tea leaves and simmer for another 2 minutes. Pour through a strainer and into a cup. Add your sweetener.
