Mashed Potatoes, Ham, and Gravy
Serving Size / Yield
- 3 cups Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1½ lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 3 Tbsp Heavy Cream
- 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Gravy Mix Packet
- Large Ham, Cooked
Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil, add salt.
Put in potatoes, return to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes..
In a skillet, add oil to the pan.
When potatoes are tender, turn off heat, drain, and put back in the pan.
Mash potatoes until smooth.
Now add in heavy cream and butter, mix together.
Season with salt and pepper.
Follow the directions and prepare the gravy.
Put mashed potatoes in a dish.
Cut out a few large pieces of ham and layer on top.
Pour hot gravy over everything.
