Meat Ball Tidbits
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground lean beef
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 small onion, diced fine (or 1 Tbs. onion flakes)
- 1/2 C. bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Sauce (recipe below)
Directions
Mix all ingredients well. Make into small meatballs, roll in flour, and either cook in a well-oiled saucepan; or bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 F for about 20 minutes.
Sauce
Ingredients
1/4-C. brown sugar
1/4-tsp. ginger
1/4-C. pineapple juice
1/2-C. ketchup
1/4 C. Soya sauce
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan, and heat until almost boiling. Take prepared meatballs and skewer each one with a pineapple chunk on a toothpick. Place in a greased deep-dish pan, and pour the sauce overtop. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.
