- 1 loaf of bread, grated in blender
- 18 eggs
- 4 oz. parmesan or Romano cheese
- 3 Tbs. parsley
- 1 medium onion diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Tomato sauce (optional)
Grate bread. Add cheese, parsley, onion, and eggs. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well with hands. Form little balls with your hands or a spoon. Preheat oil in a frying pan, and spoon the meatballs into the frying pan and fry until golden brown. Turn as each side gets brown. Drain on paper towel.
If sauce is used, heat the sauce up and put the cooked meatballs in the sauce when done frying.
