Ingredients

  • 1 Red Onion, chopped
  • Minced Garlic, 1 tsp
  • Sliced Mushrooms, 1 cup
  • Pizza Dough, homemade or store-bought
  • Dried Oregano (1 Tsp)
  • Dried Basil, 1 tsp
  • Pizza Sauce - 6 To 8 Oz
  • Diced Tomatoes or Sun-dried Tomatoes, 6-10 oz
  • Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Basil Leaves

Preheat oven to 450. Sauté red onions and garlic about 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook just enough to slightly wilt. Roll out dough to at least 12" round and then bake dough for approximately 5 minutes or until slightly golden. After slightly cooled, spread pizza sauce on pizza dough. Add dried oregano and basil. Then spread and layer the vegetables. Top with feta cheese and shredded mozzarella. Sprinkle top with several fresh basil leaves. Lower temperature to approximately 425 and bake at least 10 minutes or until cheese is well-melted or golden.
