This cheese fondue is creamy, warm, and everything else you want cheese to be. Keep the cheese melted in a saucepan on low heat, occasionally stirring. Cut the baguette into squares and dip it with the sauce.

  • 1 ½ Tbs. butter
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 C. whole milk
  • 1 C. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 C. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 French baguette

Melt the butter on medium-low heat and stir in the cornstarch. Add in the milk and cheese until it’s melted. Keep the cheese sauce on low heat and serve with the baguette.
