Mexican Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 tube of crescent rolls
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cut in bite size pieces
  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 4 oz. can of mushrooms
  • 1/4 C. green peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 C. red peppers, chopped
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 8 eggs
  • ½ C. milk
  • 1 C. shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 375°F degrees. Lightly grease 12 to 14 inch pizza pan. Unroll crescent roll dough, making a pizza crust on pan. Pat or roll dough to cover pan and seal seams. Bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven. Leave oven on. In large skillet, brown bacon and sausage. Drain off fat. Turn off heat. Add mushrooms, peppers, Tabasco sauce and cayenne pepper. Let stand. Mix 8 eggs with ½ C. milk. Melt butter in skillet, cook eggs over medium-low temperature until firm. Set aside. Spread egg mixture evenly over browned crust. Top with meat mixture and finally cheese. Bake 5 to 7 minutes at 375 F or until cheese melts.
