Mexican Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 box cornbread mix
- 2 cans creamed corn
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/3 C. sugar
- 1 pkg. shredded cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook hamburger meat and add chili powder. While hamburger meat is cooking, mix cornbread mix according to box directions and add sugar. Mix well. Pour half of the batter in baking pan. Drain hamburger meat. Place on top of cornbread mixture. Add 1 1/2 cans of creamed corn on top of hamburger, and add cheese on top of that. Take the 1/2 can of creamed corn that's left and pour on top. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
