Mexican Wedding Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 C. butter
- 3/4 C. powdered sugar
- 2 C. flour
- 1 C. finely chopped nuts
- 25 candied or maraschino cherries
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and powdered sugar together. Add flour and nuts. Cut candied or maraschino cherries up, and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Drop by small teaspoonfuls, allowing room to spread on wax paper, placed on cookie sheet. Bake in oven for about 25 minutes. When done dip in powdered sugar while hot and again dip when they are cool.
