Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 C. Holland Rusk Toast or Dutch Ruck (finely crushed)
- 1 C. granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 C. chopped walnuts
- 6 eggs - separated
- TOPPING
- 5 oz. Milk Duds
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 1/2 C. milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
Combine the crushed toast, sugar, baking powder and nuts. Add to beaten egg yolks. Add Vanilla. Stir. Beat egg whites untill stiff. Fold into the above mixture. Spread in an ungreased 8x12 pan. Bake for 30 minutes and wait for it to cool.
For the Topping:
Stir the Milk Duds, powedered sugar, butter and milk over a low heat until melted. Let this cool. Spread 1/2 pt. whipped cream (or Cool Whip) over cake. Drizzle Milk Dude mixture over whip cream.
