Mint Chocolate Beer Ice Cream
Serving Size / Yield
- 3 cups whole milk
- 4 mint leaves, fresh
- 1 ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups chocolate stout
- Mint dark chocolate, broken into pieces
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 ½ cup white sugar
In a medium skillet add the first four ingredients and cook over medium heat.
Let it simmer for some minutes and remove the mint leaves.
Add the chocolate and leave to melt before you stir.
In a separate bowl, add the yolks and sugar. Whisk to an even solution.
Put half of the chocolate mixture into the yolks and mix. Return the mixture into the skillet and stir
Simmer for some minutes and refrigerate for 3 hours
Put the mixture into the ice cream maker and chill to rigidity.
