Ingredients

  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 C. sugar
  • 2 Tbs espresso powder
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
  • 1 bag malted milk balls, for garnish
  • 1/2 C chocolate sauce, melted to serve

Directions

Start by mixing flour, espresso powder, baking soda, baking powder, & salt into a medium bowl. Mix well. In another bowl, beat eggs until blended. Add sugar, beating until creamy. Add buttermilk, chocolate and vegetable oil. Beat until blended. Stir in dry ingredients until blended. Place in waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Serve with malted milkballs for garnish. Drizzle melted chocolate sauce on top.
