Mock Beignets

Ingredients
- 2 can refrigerated biscuits (plain)
- sifted powdered sugar
- Hot grease (shortening or oil)
Directions
Cut biscuits in half and roll flat with a rolling pin. Drop in hot grease, a few at a time. Turn once. Watch carefully as they brown quickly. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
