  • 1 (15 oz.) can of pumpkin puree/pie filling
  • 1 shredded green apple
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ C. all-purpose flour
  • ½ C. vegetable oil
  • ½ C. dark brown sugar
  • ½ C. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt

Whisk the sugar and oils together. Slowly mix in the eggs, puree, and apples. Begin to whisk in the rest of the dry ingredients. Place the batter in a small bread pan. Pour two cups of water into the crockpot. Put the pan into the crockpot. Before closing the pot, place several paper towels on top of the pot and cover it. Cook on high for 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Top with powdered sugar for topping if desired.
