Mom's Crab Cakes

  • 4 or 5 slices bread, crusts cut, broken into small pieces
  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch dry mustard or regular mustard
  • 1 can celery soup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bread crumbs

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into hamburger size patties and dip into bread crumbs. Fry in hot oil. Reduce heat to low and fry until golden brown. Serve with french fries and cole slaw.
