Mom's Double Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
- 6 C. water
- 4 C. milk
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 tsp. salt
- 8 C. instant potatoes
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 C. sour cream
- 2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
- 4 Tbs. chives, optional
- Paprika
Directions
Heat water, milk, margarine and salt to scald. Add instant potatoes. Stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Top with paprika. Ready to serve. If you make this early in the day for an afternoon party, prepare on the stove. Put in crock pot, top with paprika, keep on low until ready to serve.
