Mom's Grapenut Custard Pudding

Ingredients
- 4 lg. eggs
- 1 C. Sugar
- 4 C. Scalded Milk or Half & Half
- 2/3 C. Grape-nuts Cereal
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Ground Nutmeg
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Beat eggs, add sugar until dissolved in 2 qt baking dish Set aside Pour and constantly stir scalded milk into egg and sugar Add vanilla Gently ad Grape-nuts cereal & stir until well blended Place into a 9 x 12 or larger dish of water. (can also use approx. 8 individual ramekins) (less baking time may be required) Sprinkle Nutmeg of desired amount over top Gently move to oven, very thin. Bake 1 hour or until set. Carefully remove from oven and from dish of hot water. Let cool. Refrigerate and serve with or without whipped cream. Enjoy!
