Moms Creamy Double Cornbread

I got this recipe from my mother-in-law several years ago. It's the best tasting cornbread I've ever had and it's so moist. This only takes a few minutes to mix together. There is no sugar in it. The combination of sour cream and creamed corn makes it so very moist. It's not dry like a lot of them are.

  • 1 C. yellow corn meal
  • 3 lg. eggs
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 1/3 C. crisco oil
  • 1 C. cream style corn
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbs. baking powder

Combine eggs, sour cream, oil and corn. Mix well. Combine dry ingredients and stir into egg mixture. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
