  • 1 lb. mostaccioli pasta
  • 1 1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 28-oz. jar tomato sauce
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 15 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 C. grated Romano cheese

Prepare pasta according to box directions. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease the inside of a casserole dish. In a skillet, crumble Italian sausage and cook until no longer pink. Stir in sauce and cooked pasta. In a bowl, mix together egg, ricotta, and mozzarella. Transfer to your prepared baking dish and sprinkle with Romano cheese. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Let stand for five minutes before serving.
