  • 1/2 C. semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • whipped cream

Melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat. With spoon, beat in egg yolks, then vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold into chocolate mixture. Spoon into sherbet glasses. Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream at serving time.
