  • Ready-made piecrust
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 1 T. butter, chopped
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • ½ C. sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 C. blueberries
  • 1 egg yolk

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the piecrust onto the bottom of the pie plate. Mix the sugar, flour, and cinnamon into a bowl. Add in the blueberries and coat them with the mixture. Pour the coated blueberries into the pie plate. Place the butter evenly over the pie filling and sprinkle lemon juice over the top. Cover up the pie with the other piecrust if desired. You can leave it open and sprinkle powder sugar over the top when it is removed from the oven or you can mix together the egg yolk with water to brush a light coat over the top of the piecrust. Let the pie bake for 40-45 minutes.
