Meatballs on their own are just plain delicious, but throw them in a sandwich and they become something phenomenal. This crockpot recipe makes it easy for you to make some great meatball subs in your very own kitchen.

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Hoagie rolls

In a bowl, combine beef, eggs, garlic powder, and bread crumbs
Mix until all ingredients are well combined
Begin to make your meatballs. Do not make them too small or they’ll fall apart or don’t make them to large or they won’t cook fully through
Place balls in crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them
Cover and cook on high for about 4 hours or until meatballs are cook through
Serve on hoagie roll with mozzarella sprinkled over
