Serving Size / Yield
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups Bread Crumbs
- Vegetable oil
Cut mozzarella cheese into two inch ball shapes.
Get three shallow bowls.
One bowl should have the eggs, another the flour, and another the breadcrumbs.
Dip cheese in the flour, dust off excess, dip in the egg mixture, and roll through the bread crumbs.
Put cheese ball on a plate and continue process.
Heat 2 inches of oil in a large sauce pan on high heat. Oil should reach 350 degrees.
Prepare a plate with paper towels on the side.
Place the cheese in the oil using a slotted spoon.
Make sure cheese doesn't touch each other and cook for a minute or until golden brown.
Remove and place on the paper towel plate.
