Mr. Green Tea's Fire and Ice
Serving Size / Yield
- 6 C. balsamic vinegar
- 2 pints Mr. Green Tea Ginger ice cream
- 4 pinches chili powder
- 4 chocolate biscotti
Balsamic Vinegar Reduction:
Pour 2 cups of balsamic vinegar into a deep heavy bottomed sauce pan and heat pan to medium-high.
Whisk the mixture until it begins to boil and continue to mix. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens and reduces to half of its volume.
Set aside and allow to cool to room temperature.
Fire and Ice:
Take four martini glasses and use a small basting brush to paint the inside of each glass with the cooled balsamic reduction. Place the martini glasses into the freezer for 30 minutes.
Remove glasses from freezer and place 2 scoops of Mr. Green Tea’s Ginger ice cream into each frozen glass. Place each bicotti cookie into the ice cream.
Top each serving with a pinch of hot chili powder. Feel free to lightly drizzle any remaining balsamic reduction over the dessert.
