Mulligan stew is a hearty thick recipe that was thrown together by me thirty years ago. It contains stew meat frozen mixed vegetables and seasonings that will even make a picky child eat their veggies. I'm one of those people that dont like vegetables and I LOVE this!

In large 5 qt. dutch oven, thoroughly cook stew meat in water until tender. Add stew seasoning to meat while cooking and stir well. Add enough hot water to meat and seasoning to make the pan half full. Then after meat is tender, add the small can of tomatoe sauce, frozen mixed vegetables, potatoes (make sure their cut up into bite sized pieces) and then put the envelope of chicken gravy into a cup and adda half cup of cold water to dissolve it. Slowly pour it into the pan while stirring with a large spoon. Cook on low heat until potatoes are tender. Then add about half a cup of corn starch to a cup and fill the cup with cold water and stir untill it looks milky, then slowly add into stew to thicken.
