Mushroom Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. fresh buttom mushrooms, stems removed, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 C. beef broth
- 2 Tbs. margarine
- 8 slices sweet French bread
Directions
Put mushrooms into a small pan along with pepper, salt, broth, and margarine. Simmer until mushrooms are tender. Create 4 patties out of the beef. Place burgers on a grill and cook to desired doneness. Serve by sandwiching each burger patty between 2 pieces of French bread and spooning sauteed mushrooms over each patty.
Serve with: Creamed Cole Slaw
