  • 8oz pasta
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 10oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 8oz chives cream cheese
  • 2 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper

Preheat oven to 375°F . Cook the pasta according to the box for al dente, drain and set aside. Sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add the chicken and cook until tender and no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Add the mushrooms and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the liquid evaporates. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, cream cheese, sugar and pasta. Mix well and then spread the pasta into a greased baking pan. Top with cheese and bake for 15 minutes uncovered, or until cheese melts and pasta bubbles. Broil the pasta for 2-3 minutes, or until a golden crust forms on top.
