Mustard Prime Rib
Serving Size / Yield
- 5 lbs premium prime rib, oven roast
- 1/2 C grainy mustard
- 2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place the roast into a roasting pan rib side down. Combine the mustard, rosemary, salt and pepper in a bowl until well mixed. Rub the mix over the top and side of roast.
Roast for 10 minutes and then turn down temperature to 275 degrees. Continue to cook for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until meat reads 135 degrees for medium rare.
