Mystery Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1 9-in. unbaked pastry shell
- 1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 C. sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 ¼ C. chopped pecans
- Topping:
- ¼ C. sugar
- 1 C. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Directions
Heat oven to 375 F. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg; blend until smooth. Spread on bottom of unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle with pecans. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients; blend well. Pour over the pecans. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until center is firm to touch. Cool before serving.
