Nectarines with Pureed Berry Sauce
Serving Size / Yield
- 4 nectarines, halved and pitted
- 1 Tbs. Lemon juice
- 1/4 C. Sugar
- 1 10 oz. package frozen raspberries or strawberries in syrup, thawed
Put nectarines cut side up in serving dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar. Puree berries in blender (strain if desired). Pour over nectarines and, if desired, sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds. Chill or serve at room temperature.
