New York Style Reuben Sandwich

Serving Size / Yield
- 2 thick bread slices
- 1 1/2 oz sliced Gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 1 C sauerkraut, drained and squeezed of excess moisture
- 4 1/4-inch-thick slices pastrami or corned beef
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Coat both sides of bread with butter, then places all ingredients in-between.
Grill on a skillet, flipping halfway through, until both sandwich sides are light brown. Serve and enjoy.
