Nine Layer Mexican Dip

Excellent dish for party or any meal as an appetizer. Chilling day before enhances the flavor. If you prefer more spice, use hotter picante sauce, depending on your preference.

Layer all ingredients in the order listed in large glass dish, such as 9x13-inch baking dish. Reserve about a Tbs. of green onions and olives to sprinkle on top of the cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and chill, preferable overnight, or at least 4 hours. Serve with dipping chips.

  • my son brought home a layer dip recipe from his spanish class so instead of the salsa you mix chipotle with the sour cream. it was delicious you can find a small can of chipotle at any grocrry store and you just dice up one to two and mix with the sour cream
