  • 10 - 12 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • ½ cup of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons of confectioner sugar
  • ¼ tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of whipping cream, chilled

Using a large mixing bowl, take 8 Oreo cookies and break them using any tool of your choice until it appears sand-like. Then, add melted butter and mix it together until it looks like wet sand. Place the Oreo mixture at the bottom of the spring form pan gently pat it down using a spatula or your hands.
In a separate bowl, whisk the whipping cream and continue to beat it until it doubles in volume and peaks form. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes.
In another separate mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla extract. Add the chilled whipped cream mixture to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
Break up 2 more Oreos into chunky pieces and fold them into the mixture.
Slowly add the cream cheese mixture into the spring form pan. Smooth it out using a spatula and top it up with more Oreo cookies.
Let it chill in the refrigerator for about 5-6 hours or overnight.
