  • 4 russet potatoes cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 T. butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1 1/2 C. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Layer half of the potato slices in the bottom of a crockpot. Top with chopped onion. In a separate mixing bowl mix milk, salt, butter, cheese, and cream of mushroom soup. Add half the wet mixture on top of the onions. Layer remaining potatoes, then top with the rest of the wet mixture. Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
